Fees and accessibility

Standard fee

$140 CAD per 50-minute individual therapy session.

Sliding scale

I hold a limited number of reduced-fee spots for clients experiencing financial hardship. Therapy shouldn't be accessible only to those with financial privilege, and I do what I can to make this work available to a broader range of people.

If cost is a barrier and you're genuinely committed to the work, please mention this when you reach out. We can discuss what's possible. There's no shame in asking advocating for your own access is part of the work.

Insurance and receipts

Many extended health insurance plans cover psychotherapy services provided by a Registered Psychotherapist. I provide detailed receipts that you can submit to your insurance provider.

Please check your plan's coverage for "Registered Psychotherapist" services. If you have questions about what your insurance covers, I'm happy to help you understand your benefits.

Cancellation policy

I ask for at least 48 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations may be charged the full session fee, though I always aim to work with you compassionately around unexpected circumstances.

A note on investment: I know therapy is a significant commitment financially, emotionally, and in terms of time. I also believe it's one of the most important investments you can make in yourself and your life. The question isn't whether it costs something, but whether what you gain is worth what you give. For most people who commit to this work, the answer becomes clear over time.
